He was predeceased by: his former spouse Jean Marie Liddiard; his wife Vera Bingham; and his son Charles Houghtby. He is survived by: his children, George Houghtby of Whitehall and Trisha Brown (Eric) of Little Meadows, PA.; and his grandchildren, Kristopher Houghtby of Whitehall, Douglas Warren of Colorado, Charles, Cassandra, Amber Houghtby of Glens Falls, Alex and Ryan Brown of Athens, PA.
