He is survived by: his wife Irene May Nesteruk; his children, John Sweeny (Vell) of Pleasantville, NY, Michael Sweeny (Cindi) of Cary, NC and Anne Haddad (Peter) of Washington, CT; his sister Elizabeth Sparrow; and his grandchildren, Michael, Sean, Katie Sweeny, Elizabeth Sweeny, William Sweeny, Jennie Haddad and Charlie Haddad.
