It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Margaret Bright of White Plains, New York, born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles J. Waller and Ruth Waller of Washington; and her son David M. Bright. She is survived by: her husband Harry O. Bright, Jr.; her daughter Miriam Kay Bright (Clifford Thomas) of Los Angeles; her nephew Charles Waller Harkless (Aileen Hefferren Harkless); her great-nephew Guy Harkless (Bertha French Harkless); and her great-niece Maria Bright of Greenville, NC.
In LIEU of flowers, & as a lasting tribute, the family kindly instead prefers a contribution may be made in her name/memory/honor to The White Plains Beautification Foundation (may be done on your own or through the donation tab/link here in website at the bottom of this page). You may also choose to plant a tree as a lasting tribute, otherwise a contribution may be made in her name/memory/honor as outlined above previously.
