She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Mae. She is survived by: her sister Rita Johnson; her niece Nicole Rose (Lancelot); her nephew Gary Spencer Johnson (Tayla); her great-nephews, Eli, Payton Harper-Johnson, Malcolm and Myles Rose; her siblings-in-law, Sharon Seward (Perry), Janice Griffith, Loretta Brown, Tracy Brown (Donovan), Robert (Sherry), Bruce and Andrew; her cousins, Ricky, Assemblywoman Linda Carter, Karen Lepore (Tony) and Nancy Girling; her husband Barry K. Malson; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Crystal Mealy and Julia Malson.
Believing that we cannot afford to let our children fall behind, during the pandemic she provided in-home instruction for her then-six-year-old and four-year-old great nephews.
As a lasting tribute, Mary Anne Malson & her family kindly prefer a contribution may be made in her name/memory/honor to Trinity United Methodist Church (130 So.
