With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Underwood (White Plains, New York), born in Bronx, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on April 23, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Underwood and Tina Underwood; and her sister-in-law Anne. She is survived by: her daughter Grace; her siblings, Jo-Ann, William and George (Loretta); her nieces and nephews, Tina (Jill), Tara (Chris), Jessica (Brian), Salvatore, Joseph (Nicole) and Joanna (Phil); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Scarlet, Conor, Salvatore, Santino and Joseph Mack.

“I knew Maria for many years when she worked at ITT. I was an Assistant Treasurer. We never actually worked together but ITT HQ was a small office with a collegial environment where everyone knew each other, if only a little bit. In all my interactions with her, I always found Maria to be a lovely, soft-spoken person with a good heart and we were proud to have her as member of the ITT Team. I was very sorry to hear of her untimely passing. May she rest in peace.”
