He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Abrams and Geraldine Abrams. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Anderes); his children, Howard Abrams, John Dawson (Amanda), Hugh Dawson, Ross Abrams (Emily) and Annie Tocco (Paul); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Dylan, Samson, Carolina, Kate, Owen, Ruby, Charlie and Zoe.

A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, Inc. (491 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605).
