He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Rose Carleton and Francis Joseph Carleton. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Ann Hettling; and his siblings, John Thomas Carleton, Patricia Ann Piatek and Ellen Carleton Eldred. He is also survived by five nephews, and four nieces.
