We bid farewell to John B. Shaffer (White Plains, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 23, 2025 at the age of 90. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidor Shaffer and Emma Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Derek and Evan; his daughter-in-law Meredith; and his grandsons, Declan and Callum.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services (2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY 10601).
