It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esmie Cynthia Grant (White Plains, New York), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Augustus Grant and Zilotries Amanda Beckford; her grandson Wesley Grant; and her siblings, Kathleen, Sylvia, Lucilda, Loretta, Madge, Hubert "Boysie", Isaiah and George "Coolie".
She is survived by: her husband Zedekiah Grant; her grandson Michael; her children, Michael Grant, Arthur Grant of White Plains, NY and Sharon Grant-Robinson of Lake Mary, FL; her sister Etta Donaldson; her grandchildren, Robert, Jonathan, Kenneth, Jordan, Ishaq, Maurice, Kimberly, Amaya, Ashanti, Tafari, Deidre Anna, Clinton and A. J.; her parents-in-law, Rachel and Arthur Thompson; and her brother-in-law Mortimer Grant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, family and friends.
