He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Kranepool and Sergeant Edward Kranepool. He is survived by: his wife Monica Kranepool (Bronner); his sister Marilyn Ternay; his children, Jamie Pastrano (Jason), Keith Kranepool (Annette) and Darren Todfield (Donna); and his grandchildren, Ethan, Andrew, Riley Kranepool, Alex, Meagan Todfield, Cameron and Jesse Pastrano.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Stony Brook Foundation, Kidney Transplantation Program Fund (Support Stony Brook University - Giving to Stony Brook).
