He was predeceased by: his parents, Javan Lester and Edith Mae Smith. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Charde Davis (Robert Golterman) and Darrel Smith Jr. (Chanise Jagiello); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Golterman, Ryan Davis, Robert Golterman Jr. and Jenoah Smith; his brothers, Javan Lester Smith Jr. (Lindy Lou) and David Williams; and his uncle Clarence Williams. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
