He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sneed and Cora Haywood Sneed; his children, Pamela Lee Holmes and Arthur LeRoy Sneed; his granddaughter Barbara Areise Sneed; and his son-in-law Bernard Elder.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Sneed; his children, Eric Wayne Sneed (Antoinette) and Arethea Sneed-Elder; his in-laws, Shirley Robinson, Rebecca Shaw, Oliva Harvey, Henry Addison and Larry Holmes; and his cousin Way. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (188 Orawaupum Street 188 Rev. Dr. Lester, Cousin Way, White Plains, NY 10606). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (80 Commerce St, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A repast was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (188 Orawaupum Street 188 Rev. Dr. Lester, Cousin Way, White Plains, NY 10606).
