She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Castagna and Beatrice Castagna (Puglia); her husband Luigi Grassi; her brother Vincent; and her granddaughter Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Laura (Michael), Joey (Barbara), Bea (Rory), Louie (Laura) and Johnny (Bernadette); her brothers, Simon (Liz) and Carl (Angie); and her friend Simone. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
