With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Reed of White Lake, New York, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Reed to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pius Dietmayer and Walburga "Wally" Baumberger Dietmayer; and her sisters, Antonie Schmidberger, Pia and Leni.

She is survived by: her husband Alfred M. Reed Jr.; her sons, Michael (Racheal) and Mark (Veronica); her grandchildren, Bella, Kaylie and Antonia; her pets, Ivy and Khaleesi; and her siblings, Elisabeth and Johann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews & cousins.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (8 Gale Rd, Mongaup Valley, NY 12762). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1810 NY-17B, White Lake, NY 12720).

Memorial contributions can be made to a local Parkinsons group or Parkinsons research groups.
