He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Cauthers and Vera E. King Cauthers; his wife Joan Pepper-Cauthers; his sister Marilyn Forbes; and his son Wesley Cauthers.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Kern (Gary) and Mark Cauthers; his grandchildren, Travis Hartman (Diane), Lacey Lautenschlager (Eric) and Daniel Kern; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Austin Hartman, Aidan and Emily Lautenschlager.
