He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Coleman and Dolores Misner Ketcham; his sister Barbara Benton; his parents-in-law, Don and Millie Spafford; his brothers-in-law, Jack Spafford and Maury Heim; and his great-niece Madison Kortright.

He is survived by: his wife Gail L. Spafford; his sisters, Vicki and Kristina; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Heim of Wilmington, NC, Barbara Cady (Bob) of Livingston Manor, NY, Cathy Spafford of Liberty, NY and Michael Spafford (Judy) of Liberty, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A procession was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Monticello Raceway (204 NY-17B, Monticello, NY 12701). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cornelius Duggan Elementary School (3460 State Rte 55, White Lake, NY 12749). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
