With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Hansen of Westtown, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorkild Hansen and Jane Hansen (Ford); his wife Vera Mae Hansen (France); his brother Harold A. Hansen (Flora) of Johnson; his sister-in-law Doris Hansen of Westtown; and his nephews, Louis Hansen of Highland, NY and James Hansen (Carrie) of Westtown, NY..
He is survived by: his brother Laurence Hansen of Westtown; his nieces, Shirley Lathrop of Rochester, Nancy Hansen of Highland, NY and Kathleen Sawyer (Raymond) of Johnson, NY; his nephew Thomas D. Hansen (Karen) of Johnson, NY; and also, Marissa, Jessica and Katie.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a private service and burial in the Hansen family plot in Pine Hill Cemetery was held in April, 2020.
Memorial contributions may be made to Scotchtown Presbyterian Church or the charity of one's choice.
