It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger N. Adams formerly of Westport, New York, born in Saranac Lake, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Adams and Eldred Adams; his daughter Christy Adams; and his brothers, Thomas Tyler and Hugh Tyler, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Linda Adams; his children, Lee Adams and Robin Severance (Keven); his grandchildren, Amanda (Lacey Smith), Haley (Mathew Severance), Aaron (William Adams) and Cora (Myra Adams); his great grandchild Cora Adams; and his siblings, Jill Headings, Barbara Harless and Carl Tyler.

“““We were so sorry to hear of Roger's death. We have many wonderful memories of Roger over the years, as neighbors on Lake Shore Road and at the counter at E.W. Adams. And especially as his teammate and as the scorekeeper for the Westport Peewee baseball team back in the early 1950s. Roger, of course, was the star--an unhittable pitcher and an overpowering slugger. We will greatly miss Roger's quiet and steady presence in Westport. Deepest condolences to Linda, Lee, and Robin from the Hales.”””
