He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Mahar and Isabella Skelly Mahar; his wife Janice Mahar; and his siblings, James Mahar (Janice), Charles Mahar (Cheryl) and Rosemary Schetzel.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Curran (Jerome) of Glenmont, Colleen Mahar of Albany, Robert Mahar Jr. (Marcy) of Delmar and Bonnie Smith (Michael) of Wayne, PA; his grandchildren, Joseph Curran (Brett), Seamus Curran, Walter Safford, Matthew Mahar, Caroline Mahar and Christopher Smith; and his brothers, Thomas Mahar (Barbara) and Paul Mahar (Claire). He is also survived by relatives & friends.
Please only enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot driveway; Masks and Social Distancing are required; and 45 visitors at a time will be allowed in the funeral home.
