She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Viens; her husband Harold Sayre; her daughter-in-law Amanda Viens; and her siblings, Erwin Barber, Jane Gowan and Ruth Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Viens (Sandy), Steven Viens (Mary Jane), Donald Viens and Donna Viens; her stepchildren, Deanna McLellan, Sue Lacy, Jeanne Jenkins and David Sayre; her grandchildren, Curtis Viens, Heather Douglas, Evan Viens, Keragan Viens, Mattea Viens, Silas Viens, Lindsay Carver, Melanie Johnson and Hillary Steen; and her siblings, Earl Barber and Edith Hamilton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heidrick Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (7521 Court St, Elizabethtown, NY 12932). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (6603 Main St, Westport, NY 12993). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
