He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Leslie and Margaret Lynch Meaker; his wife Gayle Marie Pratt; and his children, James, Donald of Tucson, AZ, Margaret Moore (Wendy) of Middlebury, VT, Thomas and Douglas. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Donations in his name can be made to the Westport Emergency Squad or the Westport Federated Church.
