He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Stewart and Joan McDonnell Stewart; his siblings, Danny Stewart and Jackie Ferraro; his brother-in-law Mark Ferraro; and his son-in-law Ryan Merritt.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Paulkowitz Stewart; his daughters, Irene Meyer of Orchard Park, NY, Bobbi Merritt of Westfield, NY and Joan Dimperio of Ridgeland, SC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alissa, Anastasia, Devon, Natalie, Cassie, Becky, Jesse, Tayte and Bryan; and his nieces and nephews, Danny Stewart, Janette Shettler (Josh), David Stewart (Kristin), Melinda Stewart and Veronica Greer. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
