She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Reardon and Esther Reardon (Howard); her husband George P. LaPorte; and her siblings, Eugene Reardon, Jr., Shirley Darley and Marion Rednock.
She is survived by: her children, George "Pat" LaPorte, Jr. of Westfield, Charles LaPorte (Lucy) of Westfield and Laura Gundlach (Chris) of Westfield; her grandchildren, Sarah McDonald, Nolon LaPorte, Amanda Gallagher (Jef) and Andrea Gundlach; her brother Howard Reardon of Williamsburg, Virginia; and her pet Honey. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
