She was predeceased by: her parent Leslie P.; and her brother Leslie "Sonny" Percy Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Fred Lloyd Higginbotham Sr.; her children, Debra Kaye Higginbotham (Carrie Shank) of Westfield, NY, Fred Lloyd Higginbotham Jr. (Ivelisse) of Westfield, NY and Terry Lee Freeman (Jeffrey) of Westfield, NY; her grandchildren, Ivan L. Torres, Gregory M. Torres (Jill Brockmeyer), Fred L. Higginbotham III (Lynette), Cassidy B. Higginbotham, Nichole L. Freeman and Bradley M. Freeman (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Francisco, Kit, Madison, Fred IV, Charlotte, Will, Mylin, Parker, Vida and Walker.
