Rick, who was an insulin dependent diabetic and afflicted in late life with inclusion body myositis, a degenerative muscle disease, has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Joslyn Diabetes Center and Johns Hopkins Myositis Center in Baltimore.
