Rita DeVerteuil Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2023, at the age of 93, Rita DeVerteuil (Westbury, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine and Esteban. She is survived by: her siblings, Molly, Julia (Simmy), Wilfred (Lodrick), Davis, Phyllis, Beryl and Huggins; her daughters, Dianne and Yvonne Rhyner; her aunt Julia Rhyner; her husband John "Sonny" De Verteuil; her children, Carol Byrne (Paul), Steve De Verteuil (Anna-Lisa) and Heather Grant (Roderick); her grandchildren, Roderick, Steven, Paul, Joseph and Elizabeth; and also Laila (Rita). She is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
