It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Zabielski (Westbury, New York), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Raymond has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Zabielski and Genevieve Zabielski; his brother Stanley "Buddy" Zabielski; his significant other Arlene Boerem; his friend Jerry; and his family, Kevin (Rosemary), Susan (Mark), Linda (Scott), Darin and Luann (Frank).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Brigid's R. C. Church (50 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590).
