We bid farewell to Peter F. Ciminera (Westbury, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Gina Marie Raffaella Ciminera; his parents, Peter Frank Aliano and Fay Ciminera (Pasquale); and his wife Karen. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Michael Welding (Diane), James Welding (Stephanie) and Linda Maitra (Shuba); his nephews, Michael and Matthew (Ashley); his niece Megan Welding; his cousin Debbie of Ohio; and his pets, Alvin, Theodore and Bella.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's name can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or the Last Hope, Inc. Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center in Wantagh, NY.
