He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ryan and Ellen Glynn; his brothers, Dan and John; his children, Ellen and Dan; his wife Barbara; and his grandchildren, Fiona, Connor, John Paul Ryan, Danny, Patrick, Liam, Aidan, Maggie, Finn McInerney, Valerie, Madeline, Stephanie and Jack Brandi. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
Jerry served as President of the American Heart Association and volunteered for many years at the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
