He is survived by: his wife Katheryn Acero; his parents, Paul Rochon and Jean Rochon (Schilling); and his brothers, Travis (Kerry) and Christopher.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). Cassidy also served active duty orders with the New York State Naval Militia for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout and asylum seeker missions.
