She was predeceased by: her parent Leon Backus; her child Annette Winecoff; and her sibling Lloyd Backus. She is survived by: her parent Alice Brundage Backus; her children, Louise Guglielmetti of Phoenicia, Leon Faulkner, Jr. of Mt. Upton, Susan Faulkner of West Hurley, Jennifer Kostner of Saugerties and Randy Faulkner; and her siblings, Edward Backus of Masonville, Marion Cower of Harpersville, Janet Johnston of Deposit, Rose VanValkenburg of Trout Creek, James Backus of Trout Creek, Andrew Backus, Marjory Muller, Jayne Tomao and Robert Backus.
