He was predeceased by: his parents, Josip Mack and Marija Mack; and his sister Rosalia Petek. He is survived by: his wife Angela Mack; his children, Zeljko M. and David J. Mack (Angela); and his grandchildren, Jodi Morris, Erica L. Mack and David A. Mack.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudolf's honor may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
