He is survived by: his wife Olive "Dottie" Heininger; his sons, Robert L. Sr. Heininger (Donna) and Eric Heininger; his grandchildren, Sherry, Robert L. Jr. and Ariel; and his great grandchildren, Erica Pape, Kendall Pape, Austin Mowers, Robert L. Heininger III and Nicholas Pape. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
