He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert and Deborah Leising. He is survived by: his wife Marybeth; his child Hillary Rose Jelowski (Corey); his grandchildren, Violet and Lincoln Jelowski; his sisters, Darlene Leising and Kathy Linsmaier; and his siblings-in-law, William McCormick (Tracey) and Patricia Chapman (Anthony). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
