He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Schultz and Marion Bishop Schultz; his wife Helen Miller Schultz; his sister Dorothy Milnyczuk; and his son-in-law Keith Borchert.

He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Powell, Linda Borchert (Doug Smith) and Carol Grossi (Fred); his grandchildren, Karen, Andrea, Steven, Jessica, Caitlin and April; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Juliet and Eliana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
