With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary W. Stanton of West Seneca, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary W. Stanton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Stanton; her daughter Sheila Schieber (Joseph); her parents, Thomas J. O'Leary and Brigid A. O'Leary; and her siblings, Lt. J. G. Thomas J. O'Leary Jr. (S. N.) and Teresa M. Kellner.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen P. Connors (Daniel), Ellen M. Connors (Patrick), Patricia A. Lindner (Gregory), Maureen T. Sion (John) and Rev. John E. Stanton; and her brother-in-law Robert Kellner. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoy Funeral Home (3855 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (1 Arcade St, Buffalo, NY 14224).
