She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carl V. Marus; her daughters, Natalie Marus (Tony Ujvari) and Elizabeth Cooper (Daryle); her grandchildren, Peyton and Xander Cooper; her brothers-in-law, Dennis Marus (Lynne) and Paul Marus (Susan Rhodes); and her parents, Donald Schmitt and Elizabeth M. Schmitt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoy Funeral Home (3855 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224). A prayer was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (4220 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224).
