She was predeceased by: her son Juan R. Alvira. She is survived by: her husband Juan Alvira; her children, Eva Bonitati (John), Elizabeth Borowski (Michael), Geralyn Bonilla (Robert) and David Alvira; and her siblings, Maria "Lupe" Sanchez and Angel "Mano" Sanchez (late Joan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to Hospice Foundation.
