As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alexandra Grega and John Grega; and her siblings, Gloria Long, Peter Grega (Marlene), Christine Pignataro (Augustus) and Joseph Grega (Sandee). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home (2400 William St, Cheektowaga, NY 14206). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:30 PM, on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 9:30 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the St. Matthew's Cemetery (180 French Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224).
