He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard Reimers and Virginia Hoelcle. He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Makin; his children, Kenneth Kavanaugh, Michael Kavanaugh (Donna), Carol Arrington (Todd), Maureen Nelson, John Makin (Mary) and Thomas Makin (Jennifer); and his sisters, Susan Kavanaugh and Kathy Harrigan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
