It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Edward Cotter (West Seneca, New York), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife June Cotter; his grandson William King; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Forth (late Leonard), Robert Takac (late Kathy), Paul Takac and Barbara Kwitowski (late James).

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Cotter (Linda), Colleen Kraft (Albert), Mary Miller (Richard), Pamela King (Brian) and Sharon Swiatek (Philip); his grandchildren, Kellie Cotter (Matthew Zych), Gillian Riesen (Johnathan), Courtney Cotter (Mark Stoeckl), Ryan Cotter (Emily), Chelsea Wheat (Cory), Amanda Caruana (Tony), Brady King, Emily King, Patrick Swiatek and Meghan Swiatek; his great grandchildren, Roman, Eleanor Riesen, Alina Caruana and Romy Wheat; and his sisters, Elizabeth Marts (late George) and Patricia Hannon (late James). He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial West Seneca Chapel (1340 Union Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (4220 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Foundation of Catholic Health, the McCauley Residence Hospice Care in Dan's memory.
