She was predeceased by: her son Michael Powers; and her siblings, Kathleen Hughes and Jay Hughes (Nancy). She is survived by: her children, Emily Kawa, Loving Mimi of Isaac and Allison Kawa; her son-in-law Donald Kawa; and her siblings, Eileen Graziano (late Gus), Ann D'Antonio (Michael) and Douglas Hughes (late Pat). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoy Funeral Home (3855 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224). A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fourteen Holy Helpers Church (1345 Indian Church Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224).
