He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent J. Mainillo Sr. and Joan Catherine Yetto Mainillo; and his sister Deborah Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Provost Mainillo; his son David Suitto (Maria); his grandchildren, Jessica and David Suitto; his siblings, Linda Cherry (Timothy), Troy, George Mainillo, Joseph Mainillo and Clifton Park; his siblings-in-law, Peter Provost (Nancy), Curtis Provost (Patty) and Carole Quinn; his aunt Bea Provost; his niece Micka Evans; and his close friends, Mary Ellis, Harry Hale and Scott Owens.
