He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen F. Quell and Gertrude A. Landfear Quell; his wife Sharon R. Quell; and his son John J. Quell. He is survived by: his children, Joseph R. Quell (Teresa), Jeffrey J. Quell (Anna), Steven Henry (Kim) and Shannon Smith (Tod); and his sisters, Patricia Heffner, Elizabeth "Bette" Bieg (Ray) and Sandra Cooper. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
