He is survived by: his children, Shirley Pasquariello (Stephen), Charlene Arnold (Wallace), John Strope (late Stacy) and Tammy Strope; his son-in-law David Williams; and his caregivers, Dawn and Paul Wilkes.

“Always liked Uncle John. I recall a time as a boy John John and I had skipped School and we went to his Dads home. Not expecting his dad to be home. We got lectured for skipping school but Uncle John never sent us back to school that day and let us hang out til school was out. I dont even think he told our Parents (Johns Mom n Step Dad) that we had skipped. Thx Uncle John you were always the Coolest Uncle.”
