He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Finnegan and Bertha Finnegan (Bridget); his wife Lillian Bernadette Platt of Mahanoy Plane; and his siblings, Peter, Michael, Margaret, John, James, Catherine and Mary.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Patricia), John (Donna) and Patrick (Patricia); his grandchildren, Caitlin Traore (Roze), Brian Finnegan (Victoria), Daniel Finnegan (Megan), Timothy Finnegan, Laura Benvie (Adam), Sarah Finnegan, Kevin Finnegan and Michael Finnegan; and his great grandchildren, Margaret, Nora, Catherine and Natalie. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and more than 20 grand nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or United Hospice of Rockland.
