She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary, Harry Newell of Nanuet, Pasquale and Lillian Veltidi of Nanuet. She is survived by: her parents, Alan Veltidi (Janis) and Anita Newell; her sisters, Jacqueline Zebrowski (Kevin) and Kristi Veltidi (Antonio); her cousin Renee Lynn Smith; and her daughter Lily. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers please contribute to Melissa's daughter, Lily's college fund.
