John R. Schmid Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Schmid of West Nyack, New York, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Ann Kaufman; and his parents, Russell Schmid and Catherine Schmid. He is survived by: his wife Ann Schmid (Gerlach) of West Nyack, NY; his children, Lisa Lagatol of Paramus, NJ, John Schmid (Stephanie), Michael Schmid (Lori) of West Nyack, NY and Christopher Schmid (Allison Aprile) of Valley Cottage, NY.; his sisters, Mary Schmid of Wall, NJ and Cathy (Barry Nestor); and his grandchildren, Ella, Logan Schmid, Katie, Kristen and Michael Schmid of West Nyack, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
