He is survived by: his wife Marlene Darling; his children, Julie Rice (Dale), Lorie Darrh and Edward Darrh (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Iris Rice Russell (Ryan) and Andréa Darrh; and his brother Burton Darling (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hastings Fire Department, Hospice of CNY, and the Lions Club of Central Square.
