He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Sheldon (Hegarty). He is survived by: his children, Stacey Paura (Joseph), Robyn Sheldon, Amy Kattrein (Kurt) and Christopher Sheldon (Pamela); his brother David Sheldon (Eleanor); and his brother-in-law William Hegarty. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a niece and three nephews.
